Phones work differently here, it's all pre pay. You can get unlimited data 5g plans for like 1000 peso a month. But if you spend most of your time at home and have WiFi it's not really needed. The different carriers all have unlimited text, calls to others on the same carrier. So can really get away with super cheap phone bills.
I don't know the internet cost here as my apartment comes with free 56meg Wi-Fi.
The houses though unlike in the states typically don't come with appliances, so will have to buy your own. We found some 2 bedroom houses for only 7500 peso, half the cost of this apartment. But need to buy all the appliances before we can move there. Things like stoves with an oven are not common. Not a lot of baking done here, most use a counter top induction cooker. Or a gas version that runs on propane
The refrigerators are typically smaller as well, not a lot of food storage happens here, more so going to the market daily for what's needed.
Not sure how trash works here. In the apartment here we just take it downstairs to a big can and they take care of it. But from I have seen there are collection points people take it to and it's picked up there. Not sure of cost.
