How Do I Breed Bettas?

I'm new to trying to breed fish. and i've wanted to breed bettas for quite awhile. any suggestions?

They are very easy to breed, but a lot of work! If you are ready to have 300 jars of single grow out male the go right ahead (disposable plastic cups are cheap).
 
yea.. spawning bettas is really easy.. its the rearing of the fry that is a PITA..

i successfully got mine to spawn in a 2.5 gallon with no heater.. but due to me going to school and not having time to take care of the babies... they all died.
