Can you explain the acronyms for noobs like me, thanks :)

Oops...sorry. BBS = Baby Brine Shrimp...newly hatched are quite small and a good fry food. BUT, as small as they are, they are still too big to fit in the mouths of many newly hatched fish fry. So you've got to go with something smaller.

should have read your signature. oops:D

it's ok.

Eh, incase you haven't been told yet. Be sure to keep the grow out tank well covered from any cold drafts. Cold drafts will damage and likely kill the fry when their labryinth thingies are developing, when they take their first gulps of air. I lost my first batch like that cause I didn't really know that they could die from cold air nor that the cold air would damage their organs when they are still developing. but keep that in mind, I think they should be free of that stage after 3-4 weeks, that's when I removed my covering at any rate.

ok. thank you so much.

4-6 hours also 5 gallons should the minimum breeding size tank.

thats good, so what method are you using?

i dont know what the name of the method is but heres what im going to do: get both male and female veiltails ready for spawning by feeding them meaty foods and let them be in the same fish tank with a divider between them..lift the divider after 1 week if they are both ready for spawning then stay by the tank while i wait for them to finish spawning then take the female out and put in a hospital tank to recover and leave the male with the babies for a few days till he start to eat them then i will put him back into his bowl then i raise the babies on bbs and fish flakes and hope for the best lol
