Basically I brought a motoro a few days ago and classic problem he's not eating (as far as I know) when feeding I've been leaving a few earthworms on the bottom and in the morning they are gone. I only have a fire eel that won't eat unless he is hand fed so I doubt it is him and an Arowana which is obviously top swimming and he very rarely goes below half way. I always feed my Arowana first then my fire eel and then I leave a few worms by my ray.
I know that you should always see a ray feed before buying but I had to order my ray in as my Lfs doesn't usually deal with specialist fish like these so watching him feed wasn't possible but I did make sure the supplier had him feeding and he confirmed he was even hand feeding and I do trust the suppliers word.
So I'm just wondering how long will they go without eating before the dreaded happens
I've tried ghost shrimp earthworms and frozen prawns so far what's the easiest to get them to eat?
Here's a pic, he looks pretty healthy as far as my rookie eye can tell

Any information/advice much appreciated
Thanks
