I tried twice daily but the same rays kept pigging out, so I went to one big feeding a day and then skip a day during the week..... This way it seemed the smaller less aggressive rays got a better chance to eat after the piggys are done.
Pups I try to get twice a day.
Feedings on the weekends tend to be a bit bigger or more frequent.

I was feeding twice daily and the rays were chunky before I added the dats and pbass to the tank, but since adding them, they pig out and foul the water before the food really even hits the bottom.
I then tried the pvc pipe idea to get the food down to the rays. This worked the first couple of times until the dats and pbass learned what comes out of the bottom of the pipe. They then started attacking the pipe to the point that the rays lost interest.
I've now started feeding once daily. Usually a full handful of aro sticks first and wait for all of those to be eaten. Then a large handful of massivore. Usually 5-6 chunks will hit the bottom and the rays will get them. I will then throw in a few handfuls of shrimp, tilapia, or whatever frozen seafood might be around. The dats and pbass pig out again. Usually a few chunks of seafood hit the bottom.
The rays are still healthy looking, but they're no longer chunky. They whiz around the tank all day looking for food. Any other ideas on how to get them food, or do you think the 5-6 chunks of massivore/seafood a day is enough?
