How often do you feed your rays?

no that is NOT enought food for the rays. try feeding a smaller sining pellet. sinking cichlid gold mini... or sinking carnovre. the rays will still eat it but the dats and pbass will ignore due to small size....

my 16" rays all love the smaller pellets...

Will do. I did the pvc pipe trick again tonight and just kept it down until the rays were almost wrapped around it, then lifted it up and they could actually trap some.

On my days off I like to feed 2-3 times daily with chopped shrimp, swai fillet, frozen squid, beefheart (more for my discus), krill, and silversides. I'll mix it up with chopped red wigglers and black worms sometimes. On my days when I have to work (12 hour days, sometimes more when I need to travel) I feed once in the morning (or my girlfriend does if I have an early morning). I also have 2 automatic feeders that drop a small amount of Carnivore Pellets 3-4 times daily (more for the big cats to get a chance to eat).
