How to pronounce...

MBUNA = M-boo-nah

Hikari = ha-car-ee

Bichir = bike-er

Ive often wondered how to pronounce a few fish or fish related things but was always afraid of looking dumb. But im gonna swallow my pride and ask and hope that maybe others will chime in too

hikari= Hi-kar-ee

Mbuna=Ma-boo-na (with the M being said quick so no one realizes how stupidly i say it)

Bichir= Bi-ch-er

i wanna know how to correctly pronounce polypterus...i've heard "poly-p-terus", po-lypi-terus, and pol-ipterus...anyone know(not think they know) but know how to say it correctly?

I have always known Bichir to be pronounced " burcher", mbuna to be "emboona", mind you, I am from the UK, lol

I call Hikari "Hick-ar-eee"

Bichir is "Bish-ear" b/c that is how I first heard it pronounce, and 'Biker' sounds dumb
