how to treat my turtle for septicemia!!

I really am not sure what to say, you've been to the vet and you are treating it. If it is septic the chances are slim but you are doing what you can, the most i can really offer is to visit the vet again.....
how long has it had the infection? and how long have you been treating it?

it been infected for quite some time. possibly 2 months at the max, but i didnt know it was n infection till i took him to the vet 5-6 weeks ago. i started treating him about 5-6 weeks ago too.

Baytril the entire time!?
That could be your problem right there. Baytril is extremely nephrotoxic and cytotoxic to reptiles. It is ok for minimal use in small infection but extended periods of time like that can be detrimental.
You said you were giving it orally though and that might be a bit better than a direct injection...either way though it is still bad in the long run for reptiles....

the vet said that some turtles need it longer than others. i have used baytril orally for the whole time. and have used betadine on the shell for the past week or so.

Baytril causes kidney damage over time

How have you been keeping him since you started the betadine? That needs to be kept dry so if it's in a typical aquatic set up the betadine might just be washing off and doing no real good.

i paint the betadine on him and let him dry for an hour or two..

do you have any pictures of him? that might help. im might not ebven be what you think and thats why its not helping... i have no idea. good luck. i hope he gets better....

i also put him outside while its drying for extra UVB
