hm.. if you can provide a picture of the infected area it might give me some more ideas but you seem to have done everything right.... I would ask the vet again about baytril and see if there is anything else you can be using...

If it was septic, the thing would've been dead weeks ago...........

Just because a Plastron's red or pink doesn't mean too much. There could be a million and one things going on, and you've given very little information up to this point. The only thing I've gathered is that you have an incompentent Vet........

Post detailed pics of the platron asap, maybe there is nothing wrong with the turtle, lets see.

i only have one photo, but i think it shows all that needs to be shown. the rest of his body is normal, he eats normal, and acts normal.

the betadine im using makes the dots abit more dark, so keep that in mind.

I would say your turtle is close to recovery, as I can see new growth on the shell without the red spots. May be time to halt the baytril and continue with the betadine. I think the litle guy is going to make it
