Mine kinda fades like the center of yours, but more all over instead of just the center. I hate being out here at work I want to take some pics to show you. lol. If it's a catfish I always enjoy seeing nice quality photos.

mine is 33" I would fully expect with his phenominal growth that he will get to more than 40" possibly 50 or 60" in his lifetime. Here's the pic of mine's tail and one of him in the pond.

the estimated lifetime size is just that. I don't know of anyone with one over 35" so far, but you have to remember they are fairly new still, so only time will tell, but looking at the adults, plus hybrid vigor, I'd say it's a safe bet 40"+

I bought a pair of 2" hybrids in December and they are about 8/10" now . One is missing an eye and he grows faster than the other. I think mine grow at around the same pace as the other big cats. I've been feeding my little guy every day for over a month know and the one eye dude every other day, and one eye is still growing faster :screwy: My two get along well together until its feeding time, then its a free for all. Very aggressive eaters.

Heres some pics I just shot in the dark, They color up a lot nicer when the lights are on. Real deep, rich markings.

I had a stone cat with no eyes at all, and he seemed to do better at finding food than my other cats. Good thing they have whiskers. I also had a one eyed oscar before, he'd spin in circles after his food. Your's are looking great. Their growth is comparable at a young age to other cats, but what amazes me is the growth mine still gets at his size, sometimes up to an inch per month at over 30". I had a rtc once and after he reached 20" I only noticed about an inch every other month or every three months. I had him up to 26" and that took two years from 7 inches.

necrocanis, that fish is amazing. I wish mine would come up to feed like that. I have to kind of intice him with the frozen food and fish before he gulps it.
