Care to share your settings from those last shots? Also, what lens are you using? They are truely amazing.
Only too happy to share. I take it you mean in the second lot of pics I posted?LowCel;4036410; said:Care to share your settings from those last shots? Also, what lens are you using? They are truely amazing.
Thank you, once I'm able to get around (knee surgery yet again today) I'm going to try those settings. I'm assuming (usually a bad idea) that you had your lens on manual as well?greenterra;4036608; said:Only too happy to share. I take it you mean in the second lot of pics I posted?
Settings for the last two pics in post 39. Lens is just the standard 18-55 AF/IS that came with the camera.
Full manual mode, shutter speed @1/250 sec, F-stop @ f/11 and ISO @ 200.
The festae shot is my new favorite. The original makes a great wallpaper.
haha...yeah, a non rich boy camera. I got the Canon 450D with the twin lens kit. 18-55mm and 55-250mm AF/IS lenses. I had the AF and IS active while shooting.LowCel;4037177; said:Thank you, once I'm able to get around (knee surgery yet again today) I'm going to try those settings. I can't remember, are you shooting with an "affordable" dslr or a mark xx? Considering you said a kit lens I'm guessing it is a non rich boy camera.
Thank you. Which flash and trigger did you go with? I have the 430EX II but I didn't get a Canon trigger, I went with a Cactus trigger. It's not nearly as nice of a trigger as a Canon since it loses all of the functions but it only cost $40.greenterra;4037405; said:haha...yeah, a non rich boy camera. I hope your surgery went well and you have a speedy recovery.
