ID on trout...........

Yah definatly a good sized brown trout.

Even on my 4" cellphone screen I can tell that's a rainbow. If you look carefully you can see a faint stripe running the length of the fish..

Tough one, it does look like a brown trout but the spots look very much like rainbow spots. What colour spots did it have? was there some pink and blueish marks on it??

uhhhhhhh I don't think so man. Looks all brown to me.

Here is a good reference picture. Notice that though it is a brown it still has the stripe down the length of its body

Browns don't have any kind of a stripe running the length of their body...

Look at the spots near the tail in the original picture, notice how they're finer and more numerous than on any brown.
