there are 1.3" inches tip to tip.can you identify it?

the above image is of a Red belly Piranha..... u can c that bis lower lip/jaw

I think this is red pacu. I have some red belly piranha

I have both in the same tank and an easy way to tell is at the base of the tail fin... the piranhas have a black base to their fin when younger and the pacu doesn't... and once they get a little older they don't look anything alike

confirmed to be a pacu, from the shape of the mouth it already shows that it's no piranha

could you tell wat he is, piranha or pacu.?
i got him from local pet store, they told me he is piranha. i thought he could be with my oscar in his tank. but he killed both my oscar within couple of days(they wer almost in same size). he eats anything that get into his tank(shrimp, worm, meat, fish, pellets.etc..)
