Try make new thread instead of use this thread. And bad idea use 10gal as growout for LMB and bluegill. If you cant ID them then do not take them home. And put picture to see what your fry looks like.

I posted the answer 3 weeks ago, but yes, that was the correct answer, a deformed bluegillXgreen sunfish

You got the right answer! My hybrid was wild caught one and not one from hatchery strains. Dont know what happened to the back. And I seems i have a really wimpy one (she run away from 3inch blood parrot) and not really aggressive as pure green. At first, i thought that he was pure green but the bands and smaller mouth doesnt look right.
