Ok, it's been 3 days, somebody post a fish...

Ok heres one....the question, are this fish a washed out or has premament color?

Well you got partly right, its bluegill but not washed out as its like that for two years despite water changes and heavily filtered.

Could be the substrate. Fish do change color from darker to lighter and back depending on their surroundings. My warmouth lightens up when he is out in the open then when he hides by the log he darkens up again.

second pic says bull trout. First pic screws it up for me as they don't usually get over 15 lbs.
