In other iPhone news, Touch ID is already hacked.

You can root pretty much any android device, and as long as you create a mirror image before you start it's pretty much impossible to brick it. If you screw up while jailbreaking an iPhone then all you have is a ridiculously overpriced paperweight. And I consider being overly simplified to be a disadvantage not a plus, I would rather have the freedom to customize something however I wish.

How can you not fix a bricked iphone? Between the wife and I we have had every iphone and all where jailbroken by me. I bricked two of them (first generation and a 3GS) and restored them no problem.

Anyway I don't care for android. I'll keep my iphone.

The block phone was proven to not be possible.. the engineering behind it isn't possible.

Got to agree in a way with you, I think both companies have pretty much gone as far as technology will allow at mo, the both do pretty much the same thing as each other, the thing that gets me with apple is that they try to stop u using other products along side your apple product
