Looking good! How come you stopped about 12" down from the ceiling? Are you putting in a drop ceiling? And very dark blue! Its gonna be dark down there with the lights off, gonna set it up as a movie room or something?
As soon as the baseboards are finished, I will start on the ceiling. Definitely going with the drop ceiling. I need to be able to access the plumbing and electrical.

The blue isn't as dark as it looks. It always comes out darker in pictures. I plan on making this the movie/pool room. Once the lighting is in, there will be plenty of light as I'll be installing 2x4 - 4 bulb florescent lights.

Ugh, drop ceilings and tube fluorescent lights... reminds me of work! ;)

It already looks great, and I'm sure it'll look better once its completely done. Its a huge change since I came up there last summer...

I know I already posted a couple pics of the finished project, but I found a few pics that I took while I built it. This might give a little more info on how I put the whole thing together.

If I had it all to do over, I would probably remove the drip tray and go with a straight sump setup. Still mulling this one over as I now have the opportunity to add a different pump to the setup.

It was a glass tank. I'm pretty sure it was a heater failure. I think the temp probe came out of the tank and then the heater just locked on.

Yes that is right, we have finally finished the 3-120 stand and Canopy. Canopy is pictured below. Project started July 2008 and finished November 2010

We also built a rack that holds 4 ten gallon tanks vertically.
