I bought two Quiet One 14000 for my 519 gallon. They are quiet, can be used submersed or external. Use only 270 watts and pump up to 3624 GPH at minimum head. I haven't had a quiet one fail yet. But I would imagine that any magnetic drive pumps will last a long time.
 
How is the project coming along its been a while without an update.
 
The tank has been at a stand still, i have been real busy around the house, clearing out some of my land, and christmas has tied up my money for the tank.. i am looking forward to finishing the tank come jan.
 
Nice work, I'm finding it hard to spend time on mine, instead of family.

first time seeing any one use galvanized for a sump is that gonna be safe good luck and nice build so far
 
looking great so far im interested aout that galvinized sump also, lets see the current progress
