Sweet! You can also toy with the lighting on your fuge to help even this out too. while algae will take up C02 when lights are on, it passively releases it with lights off. GL

Lol yes. But...not really.

Airstones work well for keeping pH steady...just make sure that you top off accordingly with faster evaporation.

Lol. I actually have a powerhead in my sump that can pump air. I just have it turned off. It won't hurt anything to turn it on?

No it shouldnt, just make sure that you have a baffle in between wherever you are pumping air in, and where you are pumping h2o out, you dont want micro bubbles in your system.
