yup, I started doing this after being home tinkering with Fleshys tanks. I have a heavy duty airstone in my overflow right now. In previous tanks I have used it to wipe out Cyano with good effectiveness (combined with jacked up flow)

i have a little cyano in my fuge. flow seems to help the most.

i can add an airstone to the return section of my sump. should i run it only at night when fuge lights are on?

no, run it all the time, or run it opposite the lights. You are trying to combat the "off light" passive release of co2 by your macro algaes. Most important at night, but for ease, I would just run it all the time.

+1...I wouldnt run it in your return though, that will cause the dreaded in tank micro bubbles.

I just did some major sump aeration at work. The thing looks like it is boiling. Going to have a happy, healthy shark soon hopefully. :D
