Note: Crayfish is capable of killing and eating most smaller bottom dwelling species especially during the night. Be careful when you are selecting other species to go along with this species. They have to be each given their own hiding spots, and the tank must be decorated with that in mind.

It might be worth mentioning they are escape artists too. If there is a space to get out between the tank and lid they will climb any plant or aquarium tube to get out.

Will do - thanks. :)

I think this should be sticky for all those that ask if there tank is overstocked, i dont know if this has been mentioned since i didnt go through every page but it would help those with that question

i got

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 134%.
Recommended water change schedule: 34% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 98%

oh dear

Your aquarium filtration capacity for above selected species is 875%.
Recommended water change schedule: 12% per week.
Your aquarium stocking level is 55%

2 pearl gouramis in a 20 gallon with an aquaclear 500 hanging on the back is apparently plenty of filtration.. ah well, it was in the closet when i was setting up the home for the pearls.

My 300g is seriously over stocked! LOL not news to me I didn't even list all the fish I have. I think I can fit a few more fish LOL... and hardly any of them according them are compatible tank mates. But in reality they all get along so well. All my fish are pretty much non aggressive. The most aggressive fish in my tank is my Rainbow shark! he's the only one I ever see chancing anyone around.
