Its the perfect big piece... look closely only about 8 inches of wood is actually touching the ground.

Not far enough for me... skeaming ways to kick start it as we speak....

Look into Brightwell Aquatics Microbacter 7. I used it in my reef tanks and it would speed up my cycle to about a week.
