day 3 is going well the water cleared up nicely

i was at my lfs picking up some food and i came across a 7.5'' green texas that someone had just brought in (guess it out grew there tank)

the price was right so i couldn't resist

heres a couple of pix although they don't do justice for his true color

the oscar has really brightened up

i got the idea from diy pvc caves
its cichlid gravel mixed w/ all propose sand siliconed on pvc

that looks sweet and natural build up

man the fish love those thing, but i dont think there gonna last that long, little pieces come off here and there, but the good news is for 3 bucks and 15mins you can have a bran spanking new one
