Stinging male?


Agree with jexnell.

I think they are all large enough to have some blue beard if they were going to get them.

I don’t know why but I have a feeling the one with the most blue dots under his eye is going to be a stinging male...

They were in the tank for about 5 days when I posted this, one male was terrorizing the other 2 so badly that I put them in a 55 by themselves and at the moment they are fine, one will be headed off to a 150 community tank of my brothers soon. The light coloration was because they were stressed being together, they look much better now
Welcome to the form. At 3”, one should be able to tell. Let them settle into the new tank for a few days. I wouldn’t move any out unless you start to see torn up fins. To me they look kind of washed out from the stress of moving to the new tank. If they are indeed all males, I would expect one to settle in and begin to darken up and show more dominant coloration.
