The tank is looking awesome... every day I log on hopping to see water and fish in the "Aquarium" ha ha ha

As far as Driftwood take a trip to Tropical haven.. good luck and I will keep my eyes open for any cool pieces of driftwood.

I can't find the link and haven't tried it myself but I read that a few methods including burying card stock to prevent roots from shooting into open areas helps. And combining that with the open area sand being depleted of nutriants. Not sure how you stop regular nitrates from leaking in though. Maybe just keep nitrates in tight contol so they get eaten by existing plants real fast.
