jewel fry!

i was right,there boy and girl jewel cichlids lol
dont they lay eggs?maybe i just didnt see the eggs?
theres a ton of wiggly,2 black eyes,fry in the corner.
hard to get a pic when there in the back and i cant get to the side or the back.
the fish in the pic is guarding them,what shall i do?
when do i separate them?

will it hurt the babies to separate them? or should i wait for them to free swim?

Wait or Separate. Either one will work. You just risk some getting eaten if you wait. If you separate, a turkey baster works best by sucking them off where ever they are

i will keep a close eye on them.
i figure if there good i will let them be in there till at least free swimming.
