Caught a realy little under six inch sunfish lastnight. Now this article made me have to set up a native tank. Probably only 55 though.

55 is not bad at all, you can keep darters or sculpin in there, they both can be kept at 4 to a 20g

just promoting the sculpin

Can be kept at 4 to a 20g? Does that mean a 4g? I don't think so, I would not put a sculpin or darter in a tank that small.

thats exactly what i meant, and considering most species of both never beat 5"

and sculpin stay put for the most part, and darters arent usually agressive towards the sculpin

darter tanks are commonly kept in 10g, and they (who? i dont know, just they) say that you can keep 4 together in a 10g, i personally tell people 20g, because i dont believe in cramped tanks, even if its not overcrowded, id rather have an undercrowded tank than any other

i caught a sunfish and am keeping it in my tank. i think it has a personality kind of like an oscar and they love earthworms.
