Pics of set-up first, keyholes are being shy lol.

I basically just added them to my "river" tank, raising the water level a few inches. It's helped the white cloud mountain minnows as well, they're far more comfortable in the raised depth

They really don't like my phone camera lol, so annoying as I keep trying to get pics for you guys when they go into the brightly lit section :p

I think they're doing a reconnaissance of the tank, to maybe establish a base of operations haha; they munched on some bloodworm there as well, look fairly comfortable :)

Update on the keyholes.

Female is out and about, she's in the pics. The male has been guarding the bit of slate I put in yesterday, which is in the darkened part of the tank next to the air sponge. Really hoping he's trying to entice her over lol

That tank is really nice bro. Such a cool fish too
Thanks mate, its easily my fav tank just now; dead easy to plant as the depth is only 8 inches, total volume only comes to about 16 gallons :)

Used Java moss, hairgrass, Java fern, anubias, jungle val, hydrocotyle; and some other grass type, not had to use ferts or 02 yet, all good so far; so its been really easy to maintain :)

I like that it's peaceful too, I love my cichlids; but sometimes their plant wrecking sprees and murder notions leave me more stressed than relaxed haha!
