https://parrotcichlid.com/index.php/history-of-the-red-parrot/Ge Ma Lan Hong Yuan Bao (Ge Ma Lan Red Fortune Coin) Have wider and larger sized bodies, bright red colors, their backs and hips are longer than their tails. After two years, they can weigh over 1 kg.
where do i get one?
thanks.
Is so hard to find real king kong parrots. The one in the pic above is under a NAN (red) light. Most likely orange without the artificial enhancement. I would guess that many are also juiced with hormones to enhance color.
Note the color change in the pics at top, and vid below, in this link.

The pic of my fish above was taken with a $10 point & shoot, under a single strip daylight (white) LED fixture, and washed out from the flash. She's about as red as it gets in pre & post spawn coloration.
Also i bought 2 of this a while ago sold to me as fowerhorn parrots. the guy i got them from breed thems himself. he uses a male flowerhorn and a female blood parrot. i was told by someone here that this is a pure flowerhorn which i don't believe. thanks for all your help. The one in the pic above is under a NAN (red) light.
