Know your Knots.

Never have to use anything other than a palomar. Knot always is stronger than the line and will never slip.

Eye crosser is my latest go-to knot. Similar to palomar in strength and size. Easier to tie in my opinion, especially when I am attaching a rig that I prepared beforehand

was just lookin at some of the knots near the start of this thread lol..

i didnt go tro the whole 4 pages so dont know if any one pointed out burning the line with a is not good imho,better light a cocktail stick and blow it out and burn line with the ember, but hay what do i know

I can't believe how long it took me to start paying attention to the KNOTS...not just the gear.

I find that the Palomar is one of the best, or pretty much any other knot similar, in which you have TWO or more passes through the hook/lure/terminal tackle.That double contact will get you a lot more landed fish, coupled with braid, just can't be beat.
