Beautiful tank, are you gonna add cherry barbs? Another fish that lives in streams, very hardy as well

I am currently not looking at adding any fish not from African streams/rivers.

I am thinking about doing my empty 300gal into an Asian river/stream.

Love your tank bro! I can never get plants growing very well in my water. I tried for 5or 6 years and finally gave up. I now happily care for cichlids and have no desire to try a planted aquarium again. However, I do love the look them. Especially when they are executed as well as yours. Truly remarkable. Kudos!

I struggled too for years and gave up. We suffer here due to the high summer temps that helps algae grow rampant.
After researching, I selected the hardiest plants, up the circulation around the plants, and added a bristlenose pleco. This three step combo allowed me for the first time to grow plants successfully long term. Also, doing weekly maintenance and water changes seemed to only increase my success.
