Large Pleco Food Suggestions :)

have you ever tried potato? plecos love them.. well veggie eaters anyways..

but Royals love potatos too.. i guess they are similar to wood except softer... But i highly recommend potato.

It took awhile for my pleco to eat the zuchinni slices, now he won't hardly eat anything else, be patient he wll soon realize that it's food. I put a lead weight through the slice so it drops to the bottom .

Please don't do that.
Use anything thats stainless steel, or like i do, use a stone thats used for carp-fishing.
Lead is very poisonous for plecos and prolonged exposure will lead to dead plecos!!!!
I found out the hard way...

And now this beautifull fish is dead...

I was lucky enough to own a baby L-014 for a month.. then it died from stress...

It was a L18 gold nugget and it was my first fancy pleco.
I had the plants attached to the bottom with several ounces of carp-tackle-lead. Stupid mistake.
The little Ancistrus was my first Pleco ever and he survived the ordeal.
He went to the Monstertank and survived with my Oscar and Gar.
He moved to the 90Gl fancy plecotank just to be sure.
My Gar was getting a bit too interrested in him...
