Largest Clown Loach I Ever Seen!!!

I don't understand. I bought 6 babies from my LFS for less than $30 for all six.

. . . I get to watch them grow up.

So why in the world would I ever spend $100+ for one CL? (Just because it's 10"+ does not justify the price difference for me)

And how would you spend less than $600 to grow them out in the 10-15 YEARS it would take to reach 12 inches or larger?

i know in edmonton the 6-7" ones sell for $300 a peice in the LFS

No one in Edmonton is paying $300 for 6-7" clowns, unless they have more money than brains.

The last time I saw some true monster sized CL's for sale at a LFS in Calgary they were asking $300 a piece, but they were also 14".

biggest i've seen in person in just short of 8.5 inches. she's in her qt tank now. labeled 39.99, I paid 19.99. discouuuunnnttt.


I'd expect a 12 inch loach to sell for around 175-200 around here.

thats what they were priced at last fall and when i was there in early winter again they were all gone, and been there this spring and they had another tank full!!!
