Leopard Gecko in a 50g Hex Tank Setup Thoughts...

only get a crested gecko in a arboreal tank dont just put them in a fish tank like you can with leopard geckos but other than that have fun with them and you can put like 4 or 5 in a 50G i mean cause 2 will easily fit inside a 10 gallon:headbang2
 
He ate one mealworm so far that I've seen. I think the crickets are to big, I need to get some smaller ones. These big ones can be fish food.

Thus far my impressions are that they sleep a lot and they are very chill.

My GF has taken him out a few times and he just crawls up on her shoulder and hangs out. He hissed at me and bit me the first time I tried to bother him, since then he just bows up a little bit and that is it. I think they learn quickly that we mean no harm as he doesn't really seem to care one bit if we handle him after only a couple days.

And I verified the species, it is half "Normal" Leopard Gecko and half "Giant Raptor" Leopard Gecko.

You can think all you'd like. ;) It's Normal x Giant Raptor, 100% for sure...

I got it from the breeder direct, was his first batch. I saw the parents, their tank, the incubator it was grown in and so on. I just couldn't remember what he told me so I had to email him to remind me what the parents were.

Should be a good looking Gecko as he gets bigger. He's got awesome markings. Or is it a he? Have you sexed it?
 
Hello. I have had my Leopard Gecko in a 55 Gallon for 12 year's. I have a nice piece of Grapevine wood in there. I have indoor outdoor carpet. I have a bowl of water. I have a 100 watt black light and two house's in each corner. I feed her cricket's that eat Total Bite's by Nature Zone. I dust the cricket's with Rep Cal Calcium Powder and Vitamin Powder. I let her soak once a month in my bathroom sink that helps her with shedding. They are really cool pet's to have.
 
Mine is doing good thus far, my GF takes it out daily and it hangs out like nothing is going on. Typically on her shoulder or crawling around the couch. Very mellow.

How many crickets should one of these guys eat daily? I dropped in 5 last night and it ate them really fast.
