Some of mine:

The canisters are on my P. leopoldi tank.
The sump with the rocks beside it is on my 310gal.
The sump with the green pump and pcv pipes is on my 160 gal.
The smaller square sump is on my marine tank.

lol so at one point this tank had those two marine land HOB's and an FX5 ?? thats intense must have had some happy angels in there :headbang2 I didn't know you could throttle back the FX5's Ill have to open one of mine.

Not really. I had two marineland HOB's cuz they were rated at 50 gallons for each, and the tank is 56 gallons. ive replaced the marineland filters with just the fx5, cuz they were on sale and i could use it later on a bigger tank.

To turn down the power, but dont turn them down too much, just move the intake and outtake valves a few notches down, but make sure they are at the same level so the input and output are equal. not sure if it hurts the filter or not, but there is just less pressured water coming from the output end.

WOW clean setups ! loving the hard piped FX5's and the 55 gallon sump has always been one of my favorites.
