It’s not silent like an ehiem but it has a low humming noise to it I would say under a cabinet it would be hard to hear it at all. Put it this way I am setting up a 600g tank soon in the living area of my house and have no hesitation fitting two of these to it.tcarswell;3027594; said:

Socks are (4) 200 micron. Will be switching to 100. Cleaning.... guessing once a week.... As the 200s still don't have a rise in water level yet and it's been up and going for over a week.
Pump is an ampmaster Dolphin 4700.
As of right now I'm planning on doing a complete rebuild. Not ready to give up on the settling chamber idea.
Socks are (4) 200 micron. Will be switching to 100. Cleaning.... guessing once a week.... As the 200s still don't have a rise in water level yet and it's been up and going for over a week.
Pump is an ampmaster Dolphin 4700.

running eheim pro 3 2080, using a fluval plus 4 as a prefilter for my vecton uv unit that i dont have any pictures of as it just rounf the blind side of my tank. havn't had any problems yet with my little set up, looking at getting another pro 3 2080 when i get some cash. maybe a fx5 not to sure just yet.

That is awesome! The only thing I see that may or may not be an issue is your hose on the inlet side looks a little kinked. I like the choice of filter though that is truely an investment ! Very cool. What wattage UV are you running ?
yea i really wanted a big eheim, IMO there no such thing as overkill so another one should be on its way to mine in the newar future ( i hope ). I think the reflection of light off one of two inlets makes it look like a kink but i asssure you its all good in the hoodtcarswell;3070833; said:
