Thanks guys.......

The pink styro is in there till I either decide to keep this sump and build lids or change the sump (have an acrylic 120 gallon I'm working on now, and can't sell my glass 125 so that may just end up under there. Just have to keep the evaporation down. Stand still needs stained and trimmed out but that won't happen till I move in a few months. Still need to get the good lights on it too....

It definetly works...... BUT there's A LOT of things I'd change. 1st would be the settling chamber that doesn't allow anything to settle with 5K GPH.... Needs to be about 4 times as big with baffles.

Hell of a learning experience though..... The next one WILL be better.

This is just small scale research for when the day comes that I get to turn my acrylic 240 (that I can't seem to sell) into a sump for the 750 that's been collecting dust in storage........

In a storage shed across town.

Acrylic.... Tenecor. 10 by 4 by 2.5. Furniture grade canopy and matching skin on the steel stand.....

Believe me, having a 750 sitting in storage is just like finally hooking up with a beautiful girl after a 4 year terrible stay in a hellish relationship and not having that magical "hat". Except a quick detour to the local qwik E mart doesn't let you use your 750.

:nilly:
