Mad Max the GATF and Chicxulub's other ATF

April 10. He's lost more teeth and his teeth are beginning to erupt through the gum. Note how the second tooth in the upper jaw is nearly fully extended now, but it's still fully enshrouded in gum tissue. Also note how inflamed and puffy the gum tissue in his mouth is.
More teeth updates.
April 11th. I took these pics yesterday. His teeth are mostly in place but the inside of his mouth is still inflamed and there is still some gum tissue around the teeth. They're not all the way folded into place yet. Refused to eat.
April 12th. His teeth are mostly in place now and the gum tissue around the teeth is gone. He still has a little inflammation on the roof of his mouth. He still refuses to eat. You'll note that the first tooth on the right side of his lower jaw is somewhat leaned out. This is fine; it is normal for an ATF to occasionally have an oddball tooth come in and is of no concern. The next tooth to come into that spot will be normal, this is not permanent.
On another note, I'm fairly confident that I can start referring to this fish as a black Goliath. He's got much better color development than any GATF I've ever seen and it continues to develop from day to day. Reference the following pictures from the 11th. He's now significantly darker than Drogo and has black fins. Even though its not the greatest shot, I included the one with Drogo because it shows just how dark he's getting. I need to figure out a way to put a light colored thing in the tank for a background so you all can see just how dark he is; the effect is lost on a black background.
Note: On all four of these pictures I was trying a few new techniques with a different lens than normal. This created a bit of a flash artifact in his eyes on the shots that weren't as zoomed in and the shots aren't quite as clear. Oh well, that's how I learn though!

My Armatus has refused food too in the past 3 days. When I tried today I saw almost half his teeth were either visibly loose or gone lol. So I expect he'll be back to chomping fish fillets by the end of the weekend.

I really haven't ever posted full belly shots, have I? Well I guess I'm gonna have to do that once he starts eating again! I figure he'll start eating either tomorrow or the next day.
