how hard is it to do? do you scrap a line over and over and just snap it?

I marked it for the cut with a marker, used a square, alittle oil on the cutter wheel,& one score line, then snap.

VERY easy.

Yep thats how I did mine too. A lot easier and cleaner then I thought it would be. Just make sure your score line is perfectly straight.

JL what thickness of glass did you use, cause mine is pretty thin.

Not sure,it was made from the old lids from my tank...I would say 1/4".

What is the size of each section in the sump?

I dont remember exactly(I sold this a few months back).

I know the bio compartment was 24",not sure on the rest.

Maybe the new owner will see this & give that info(he is a member here).

I think the pumps are around $60 each.

enough to keep them under water.:D

I thought that they were supposed to be above as well as below the water line due to some bacteria living up there blah blah blah ...I don't know... just read that here somewhere ...could some one elaborate on that ?
Awesome set up though I am going to try one but would like to get more details such as compartment sizes etc. for a 33 gallon sump.
Great site by the way :D
