Got sick of waiting for all the wood to sink fully so shoved the 2 small branches under the large stump on the left to hold them down, and zip tied a rock to the large branch on the right.

It will do for the moment

Measured him once I caught him from the old tank. Right on about 34cm, or 13.5” if you use imperial.

Hopefully he puts on some size now in the larger tank and with more regular feeds.

He has settled into his new tank nicely.
A couple of fins are still damaged after moving him. You can see the front of his dorsal fin has a broken spine. That will take a while to grow back properly.
He is loving the daily feeds now as opposed to every 3 days like he was getting in the old tank.
