yes sir , i seen to run into the same confilict you do with my situation. The 350 gallon would look reallllly nice , and im going to have to upgrade to a 1,000 gallon tank in 2 years anyways so i figure go with the 350 and have something nice then build something suitable when its actually needed. I didnt lose any fish because they are all BEASTS haha. The side seam busted, leaking a good 5 gallons every 4-6 hours , they are all at the fish store and awaiting their new home. I cant wait to get this tank built.carcrazy;3746348; said:Sorry to hear about your bursting tank. That is a nightmare we all share! Did you lose any fish? If you have room in the garage I'd go for the 535g, it is nicer to have a wider tank for sw, it offers so much more options for aquascaping the rock and the big fish would appreciate the extra turning room. Although an 11' long tank would look pretty awesome!
at my LFS, man it kills me to see them their , my eel is in a 75 gallon .... hes a foot longer than the tank.fishy12;3746359; said:So did u lose all ur fish? Or u still got those tanks?
o ill get them back thats not the problem , i just need to get this tank finished for a good price. I am only 18 and at home , so i dont have the biggest bugdet. i have a 5,000 dollar budget and so far the 535 full set up would cost me 5500... so i think the 350 is better for the time being. I have to pay 35 dollars a day for them to hold my fishfishy12;3746366; said:That rlly sucks.......Im rlly srry dang hopefully u finish ur new tank intime to get them back....
fishy12;3746377; said:Oh i didnt knw they were holdin them i thght they were turned in for store credit or somethin...Atleast u will get them bak! And r there any tank mates for a moray eel a bumble bee grouper in a 600 gallon or wld that be too small. Im just thinkin of future idea's for tanks or whtever.
