Metal monster 3k

yeah i like coating my steel with devoe one part epoxy chemical resistant paints....This is what i used on my 650 metal frame tank and there's no signs of rust after 3 years of operation :).....stuff takes over a week to dry but you can build up a very nice thick coat of paint with it...Its almost like glue lol... All my steel is for FREE :) :) :) and it is 2" box tube 1/8" to 1/4" wall thickness....should b plenty strong. I also have a s*** ton of 1.5" 1/8" angle i may be using for some of the side wall supports. All this material was paid for by a client who went out of buisness so i was left with the material :) crazy i know. And any other scraps and pieces i have i;ve aquired from jobs ive had over the past 2 years. I always order an extra piece or two from any welding job i get (gotta have perks when running your own buisness lol)

Pharoah i hope to keep up with pics on this one because my Metal Monster 650 build was kinda lacking them a bit....I was alot more unstable on my last build and didnt even have a house to put it in when i started...I was also still in college and it took a good 3 years to complete. Funny thing is this 3k will probably run me the same amount as it did for the 650 gal. and Noone uses steel :) def. my material of choice especially because ill be assembling the entire thing myself. There will also be some CNC machine pics for drilling the acrylic. I'm lazy and i have my own CNC so its and excuse to use it. At the shop now! so i'm back to welding so i have some pics for tonight. I had a call for an acrylic tank repair from one of my customers i did this afternoon so it threw off my tanks plans a bit for the day.

Here is the acrylic repair i did today at work :) some bonus pics of my customers shop. Its called "eye catching coral and fish" in younhstown ohio. I built the 16 acrylic tanks and racks from scratch one year ago. Enjoy!

First pic is the crack...second pic is the hold i drilled to stop it...and following pics are the sandwich patch i put on on either side of the tank...i had extra glue so i threw on a top piece aswell. This was glued with only the best Weld-On #40 it is the only glue that should ever be used to make or repair acrylic tanks.
