Cool It looks really sturdy but was just wondering

No worries...most people say u do and it doesnt hurt to add a couple in but 2" x 1/8" tube was pretty unnecessary for this stand lol..just happened to have it in stock. I prefer 1.5" x 1/8" tube for just about everything as its lighter to carry in the end. This thing is one heavy s.o.b. i was a bit disapointed i had a hell of a time moving it alone strapped to a dolly to wheel it in from my welding shop for paint.

Great thread man. I just welded a stand for a buddy for a 280 g on top and a 220 on bottom. Used 2" square tubing, 1/8" wall as well. It's a beast of a stand. Nice work on your projects. Can't wait to see more.

No 3k yet but im one step closer...absolutly kills me to "consolidate" but this was for the better i believe....sooo here goes my days work "ashey to classy". This is for my salty monsters. 90,25,10 turned into 230 .

I must say I am a bit jealous. I wish I had the skills, space, and knowledge to build my own aquarium even a fifth the size of yours. I am inspired for future projects, so THANK YOU so much for being as detailed as you are its very educating.

Everyone else just thinks im crazy...which may be true but this is where i learned how to build my first big tank (650) so im just trying to pay back all the people who helped me and share the wealth so to speak to the rest of our community.

Recieved a mini monster rescue today for free...like i needed anything else lol. One of my gf's customers brought them in for me. Funny the whole small town i live in knows i own a personal zoo...o well i cant say not to free. 2 yellow cooters or chicken turtles...im hoping there chickin turtles for future size but i know better lol there stinky old cooters that will hit 10-15". Id love to just feed them to my TSN, but im not that sick lol...
