Turtles diggin her new platform...finally caught her up there for a pic.

Yeah, that tile might be a good idea just to not have to worry about the turtle digging through the liner. I know softshells love to dig.

Does your softshell turtle attack the fish?

Nope, never had an issue...shes been living with these cats for over 3 yrs now. She lived with a 20" motoro in a 300gal for a while with no problems yrs ago. If anything, the big cats give her a hard time. Its a pretty equal match up imo...the cats mouth her head during feeding and she pushes right back to get her pellets lol... im lucky they get along so well im sure... only thing she attacks is smaller turtles.

That big boy would look perfect in the 3000 gallon tank.

Not too exciting today lol...but its progress and full scale of the tank. Put 2" black acoustic foam up on the back wall for insulation (got it for free) and 1/2" dow insulation for the floor. Next is a layer of 1/2" plywood. Dont want to crush the foam floor when the metal frame comes in.
