Yes, dont risk wild feeders even though there QUARRANTINED for they carry internal parasites and its easy for them to get ich faste for they dont experoence this disease in the wils and those parasites in the fish will kill your bigger fish. I lost an Arowana and 2 oscars and my friend lost 2 arowanas from this for we like to go to the stream and go scoop netting. So i wouldnt recommend this but if you do do it at your own risk.......
 
I'm raising some white clouds in a 25 litre tank without filter. I add algae to the tank. The hairy type one + some green water!!!
 
Don't overdo the hair or string algae as it can effect the fishes gills.An airstone will give you needed circulation and aeration too.

some good info now lol i just ordered a powerhead heater thermomometer and sponge for that filter i have a 30 or so gl storage bin DR what do you think i should start with what kind of fish also doc another Q if i have a blue storage bin how am i suposed to know whats goin on its not a clear tank i wont bee able too seeeeee
 
I keep fish in some barrels outside. I don't really see whats going on except when the fish come to the top!
 
Try some locals, and pick up a comic book...in the back is a ad for x-ray glasses order them and problem solved.

PS... If you look at your sister with them on you'll go blind!!!
