the division is definitely really interesting now that gsp isn't there.

dana was thinking dolce used a scale that was off calibration in the back because both Hendricks and gastelum missed weight, whom both used the dolce diet in their camp. so they probably made weight back stage with a scale that was off

That would make sense. I don't believe that Hendricks has ever missed before (including his wrestling career), and would probably be extra cautious for another title fight.

So Hendricks is fighting Diaz,is that why he was there heckling?

No, Diaz is just trying to cause problems haha. He still says that he'll only come back for a title shot.

I never much cared for either of the brothers Diaz and that kind of foolishness is why..being disruptive at an event that he has nothing to do with.

Ya, I'm not a fan of their antics outside of the ring, but they do usually put on exciting fights. They're like normal sized people with little man syndrome.
It seems like that attitude has worked for them though.

Haha...and you're right, gotta give them props for their skills but they are both like school during Christmas...no class.

that was a pretty good main event. I only saw the main event. will watch the rest of it tomorrow probably

it wasn't that he threw the fight, I think he was the more tired one and Hendrix did what he had to do to secure the round. I had them 2 a piece going into the fifth, which was the deciding round. i'm pretty sure everyone saw it the same.

Hendrix probably could've knocked him out but he chose to go for the take down and secure the round. good for him. I was rooting for lawler though just because I wanted to see the veteran win a big one.

DANG Hendrix has a freakin SOLID beard man. had that been a lesser man Robbie may have got the stoppage. both guys fought their hearts out

I missed the card, but I see that your boy got the win. Congrats to him.

The UFC card tomorrow looks pretty good. Hendricks failed his first weigh in attempt, but made it his second time. He had to cut an additional 1.5lbs. Nick Diaz was there heckling him haha.
I'm really looking forward to see Lombard again. If he can beat Shields, I say give that man a title shot. With his Judo base and heavy hands, he might end up running the WW division. WW is looking stacked right now with Hendricks, Lawler, Lombard, Condit and many other strong finishers.

Unfortunately we ended up missing everything. We found out the hard way how much it sucks when your party bus slams into the back of a stopped semi while you're still going 40-50mph. We were all lucky enough to walk way but are all still in a lot of pain. Watching the video of his fight he looked good though, very disciplined which is good cause he has a tendency to be overly aggressive which causes him to get reckless.

Wow that's crazy. Good to hear that everyone walked away.

Condits knee injury looked brutal. You could clearly see it pop right out in slow-mo.
Shields vs Lombard was a bit of a snoozer. I think that Lombard just wanted to secure the win. He had some great trips and throws, but didn't commit to anything on the ground. He hit Shields with some huge power shots too.
OSP looked much improved with the submission win.
Hendricks was hurt a number of times throughout the fight. Both guys have solid chins, and took some solid shots. Hendricks might have gone out if he didn't have that giant beard.
