Money plant in pond?

I have a thread on this

Pothos in your tank, easy peasy | MonsterFishKeepers.com

Vine pieces will do better submerged than potted ones adapted to soil. Potted plants submerged will lose/rot anywhere from 30% -60% then the plant will slowly adapt growing new roots/shoots. The leaves grown from submerged vines will be smaller.

You can grow them immediately with only the roots in water. Some people grow them in sumps or hob filters but be aware of potential bypass issues once the roots get thick.

My fish will sometimes bite the leaves and eat the roots. Acaras love ripping the leaves off and stripping the vines for eating/nesting. My parrots will bite the leaves on occasion and eat the roots.
Thanks @FINWIN for that thread. I washed off the dirt and planted the plant in some sort of DIY floating basket? I attached three pieces of Styrofoam to each side and then tied it to one corner of the pond. I attached some of the vines to the pond using steel clippers. Here are a few pics.

BTW @esoxlucius do you like the floor now? I put a artificial grass mat over it since my mom was mad I posted the pics of a hideous floor and a "fine British man" thought it was disgusting LOL.

Mine is planted in a mesh pond basket which I have then tied string to to pin it to the sides so the basket dangles in the pond. Yes my fish eat the leaves and roots for the stems which dangle down into the water. Not really a problem as it grows that fast. One word of warning. Mines in an indoor pond in a large shed and the potos has gone mad. Think ivy covering wall type mad. So it’s climbing the walls , the roots are up the wooden walls , in the cracks etc. getting it back out/ off will be a real challenge if I ever decide to.
Keep it in check if you don’t want it running a mock.

Thanks @Fishman Dave i have done something similar to your setup. I did heard that pothos grew quickly in aqauarium/pond water but didn't knew it did that quickly! I would love to see some rapid growth on mine. BTW some of the vines are touching/submerged in water, will it cause them to rot?

Use my method next time, the pacu can’t pull bricks down.

UPDATE:
It's been two days since I put the plant back in the pond again. This time, I did a similar setup to the one mentioned by @fishhead0103666 . However, instead of using bricks or slate tiles,i used a vegetable stand with holes. The stand had thee sections, from which I removed the top one, put rocks in the last one and placed the plant in the medium section. I then attached the vines to the corner using iron clippings. The pacu has tried knocking down the stand bur @fishhead0103666 was right, it can't take down that much weight. So far, there have been no signs of rotting .
