I'm currently houseing over 2000 gallons of freshwater. Almost all of my larger fish are atleast six years old, some much more. My female Midas is seven, my male marbled goby is 7, my pacu are almost ten, I have a large collection of the endangered Polleni cichlids, including one of if no the only patternless Polleni. I'm working on my second generation Flowerhorn project, fifth and sixth gen swordtails, second gen Severums and 10th gen powder blue paradise. That and my Silver Arowanas are known around the globe. bought a 2 inch albino id shark 100 buck. put him in my growout went inside to get the small pellet came back and he was stuck in the inlet of my cannister filter. bye bye 100 bucks.
I have a Pacu that is over 24 inches long and around 13inches top to bottom... not sure what he weighs but he is my big boy!!! his buddy Oscar is pretty big as well... both are 2 1/2 yrs old
thanks for posting, I will remind you, right now, just about anything is a record. if you have a 3 inch RTC or cichla, it will still go into the record books, and be replaced when some one posts larger.
