Got more Flickers "flicking" out back lol.

We've got either a hawk or eagle around here. There's a really big predatory bird that comes through every day flying in wide circles...the shadow falls across the trees and ground!

From todays local paper, the location is our subdivision so pretty close to home. Makes sense as the moose and deer populations appear to be at an all time high in and around the city. Probably a young male setting up house along the river valley.

Thats a big boy. I'm assuming that seeing a mountain lion in your area is rare.

That wasn't the actual cat, but yes, while a number of cougar have been spotted within the city limits over the years it certainly isn't a common thing.
