The "family" enjoys the new layout. Most of the males have strong nuchal humps now. We start off with Bruce...he hassles his relatives a bit with mild chasing. But two things he won't do: leave his area or confront his father Mongo.
Squiggy (R) halts his grandfather Mongo (L) in his tracks. Mongo retreated a moment later. Squiggy has thickened up and you can see he's heavier in the body than Mongo.
The sociable Brutus is always front and center and ready to greet. He's not especially aggressive despite his size but doesn't really get intimidated either. I have no clue how big he'll end up.
For the time being Slade appears to be semi-retired as a tank boss and pretty much avoids conflict now and stays in his area. Son Squiggy has taken over patrol of the "south side". Family fact: Slade gets along well with his adult offspring, Mongo does not. Both Brutus and Squiggy stay in the same general area as their father though Brutus will cruise the whole tank. Squiggy generally stays on one side. Here Squiggy shows his bluish throat color. Slade's is mostly black underneath but he's been known to display blue as well.
Slade's offspring have the greatest diversity of color and patterns. More on these hrps later!
